Footprint Center

In addition to hosting the Phoenix Suns, Footprint Center (formerly known as US Airways Center, America West Arena, Talking Stick Resort Arena, PHX Arena and Phoenix Suns Arena) hosted the Phoenix Coyotes from 1996 until 2003, until the transfer team moved to the Gila River Arena. Footprint Center is also a great concert venue, and is noted for having hosted one of the last public performances of Frank Sinatra. More recent musical guests include Beyoncé, Madonna, Black Sabbath, Jimmy Buffett, Nine Inch Nails, Muse, The Black Keys, the Foo Fighters, Pink and Lady Gaga. Past special events at the venue include the 1993 NBA Finals against the Bulls, some of boxer Oscar de la Hoya's early fights, Julio Cesar Chavez's last fight, and the 1995 and 2009 All-Star Games. When it's scorching outside, a Footprint Center visitor shouldn't be looking for parking at the former Talking Stick Resort Arena; instead, they should use ParkWhiz to book a Footprint Center parking spot, and let the scorching happen inside the stadium.
