More about Crypto.com Arena
There are many attractions for visitors to Los Angeles, from Hollywood to Venice Beach, but one venue, Crypto.com Arena, has something for everyone. With three professional basketball teams, a hockey team and big-name concerts, it is crucial to book Crypto.com Arena parking ahead of the event with ParkWhiz. Formerly known as the Staples Center, it opened to the public in October 1999 to act as a new stadium for the Los Angeles Kings of the NHL. Owned by the Anschutz Entertainment Group and a component of the L.A. Live entertainment complex, the venue is also the home of the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers of the NBA and the Los Angeles Sparks of the WNBA. The venue’s original naming rights deal with Staples lasted from opening day until December 2021, when the rights were purchased by the Crypto.com Cryptocurrency exchange. The Lakers have a legendary history in the NBA, with 17 NBA Championships, 19 Conference titles and 33 Division titles. The Los Angeles Sparks have won three WNBA Championships, and the Los Angeles Kings have earned two Stanley Cups, three Conference championships and one Division championship. Crypto.com Arena was also the previous host of the Los Angeles Avengers of the AFL and the Los Angeles D-Fenders of the NBA D-League. The arena is adjacent to the Los Angeles Convention Center and across the street from Microsoft Theater. Previous musical guests at the venue include Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band (which was the arena’s inaugural event), Mariah Carey, Madonna, Paul McCartney and more. With basketball, hockey and top-tier concerts, it is important to book Crypto.com Arena parking in advance with ParkWhiz.
